Visualization Styles

When undergoing the sales and design process of a property, staging its interior is as integral as the structural walls that support it. Individuals do not simply want to purchase the beautiful open layouts and the spacious rooms; a livable space is what they are after! This is easily communicated through CGI renderings.

What are the major benefits of 3D visualization?

Imagination is your only limit

With 3D visualization, there are no limits unless you choose to set them. It allows you to display your products and décor in the most captivating atmosphere, whereas traditional photography poses some limits. With photorealistic rendering, it is assured that the best suited surroundings are used to enhance your design.

Time and money saver

CGI allows you to avoid the traditional logistical challenges associated with photography. Many property owners undergo the 3D visual process while their building is still in the development stages, allowing them to market and sell well in advance. Experiencing architecture come to life through CGI also allows you to see what works and what does not. It gives the opportunity of design tweaking before any tangible material has been bought, saving you both time and money.

This ideology also corresponds with any design industry. CGI rendering offers different styles to help you evoke character and warmth to any room set. The three major styles are: the dramatic, lyric, and epic style.

Dramatic style

If your goal is to curate an interior which draws attention to a defined area, there is no better way to communicate this than by using the dramatic style. It creates somewhat of a theatrical ambiance to the visual due to the contrasting lighting, attention to product and the darker edges of the image.

When creating a focal point image, the décor usually has a muted colour palette and low-contrast tones so that it does not shift the focus from the main feature of the visual. This realistic style is ideal for peaceful and intimate settings such as a living room or bedroom visual. It translates a peaceful and serene atmosphere with lots of personality. Muted and diffused lighting is used with this style and usually small light sources such as task lighting are utilized.

Lyric style

Lyric style seems to be the go-to aesthetic out of the three styles listed. It reflects a poetic and airy feel which adds lightness and calmness to a visual. It is mainly used with large open spaces with big apertures such as residential open plan, office spaces and other welcoming spaces, so that natural light may flow in as much as possible. In fact, lyric style is combined with a fresh mood using mainly daylight with direct sunbeams and glares in the frame. It adds liveliness to any rendering scene.

Epic style

If you want to create a precise vibe in your artistic visuals, epic style is what you may opt for. It is generally used when the designer’s intentions are to showcase a recognizable piece under a spotlight, as well as in settings such as restaurants, bars, and retail stores where each interior translates a different set of emotions. Dramatic lighting is used and harsh light that breaks into the darkness creating striking sharp shadows. It is all about creating a daring visual statement, with bold contrasting colours and epic lighting.

When using any of the above-mentioned styles, the final visual is to convey the perfect mood and ambiance that matches your design. By experimenting, marketers, developers and designers can better target their clients and sell their work more authentically.
